Students will research mythological creatures and select one that they will morph with their self-portrait using the Levels option (image > Adjustments>Levels), Pen Tool, Blending modes, Dodge, Burn, Blur, sharpen, smudge, Spot Healing, Eyedropper, and paintbrush tool in order to create a new work of art in Adobe Photoshop.

We will be using Photoshop to alter your self-portrait into a mythological creature. 

Research: Use the links below and report in a Google Slide.

• Explore the interactive map showing where some stories of the Mythological Creatures originated in the link for The Guardian.

• Find a self-portrait (a picture of you) that you will want to use for this project.

• Which self-portrait photo do you plan on using for this project?

• Which mythological creature do you plan on incorporating?

• A brief description of the mythological creature (origins, characteristics, why it's famous, etc.).
